Rob Miller

Rob Miller began performing for the public at age fifteen, playing acoustic guitar for the dinner crowd at a local cafeteria. At age nineteen, now studying music at St. Louis Community College at Meramec, he united with fellow Lindbergh High School grads Dave Caito and Brad James to form Sh-Boom with whom he remained a member until the band’s official farewell in 2014. Sh-Boom grew into one of the Midwest’s premier Oldies acts and was honored as the first inductees to the SLCC at Meramec’s Alumni Walk of Fame.

Rob’s musical interests range from The Beatles to Stravinsky. He earned a Master of Music degree in Music Composition from Webster University. He enjoys writing music in a variety of genres and plays several instruments. An interest in writing for Musical Theatre led Rob toward a desire to advocate for local playwrights and now sits on the Board of Directors for First Run Theatre as well as the Steering Committee of the St. Louis Writers’ Group. He was a Music Educator in the public school system of St. Louis County for thirty years.

Rob is the father of four and lives in Eureka, Missouri with his wife, Chris. He was thrilled to join Butch Wax and the Hollywoods in 2018 as the band’s bass guitarist.
